I am an ambitious student currently working towards a Bachelors in Psychology. Upon completing my Bachelors, I plan to attend graduate school where I will earn a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and subsequently become licensed. I find that mental health is essential to living a healthy, well balanced life.
I recently worked as a Research Assistant for Florida International University’s Center for Children and Families. In particular, I worked for the Sibley Teen Lab. This lab is dedicated to offering treatment to teens with ADHD and their families. During my time there, I collected, entered, and analyzed data. In addition, I assisted with administering treatment visits.
I have created this blog for the purpose of informing parents, educators, and perhaps other students like myself about the important aspects of a child’s development. I will strive to provide my readers with current research and findings about child development as well as suggestions for parents or individuals who engage with children.
I look forward to watching my blog evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another.
Happy Reading!
